Access and Onboarding
Access and Onboarding
This page captures the access, onboarding, donation, and cleanup notes from the September 14, 2026 member update. Verify with current leadership before treating it as official policy.
Current Access Status
General CreatorSpace access is paused until permits are received. Monday and Tuesday General Access windows are being used while the new location is arranged and brought online.
New Member Onboarding
Welcome to CreatorSpace, a 24/7 community-run nonprofit in Webster. New members should expect a Slack invite and an introductory email with space policies.
The board expects about a month of general onboarding before distributing all-access 24/7 codes. Members can help that process by showing up to events and open nights, staying active on Slack, and being visible to CreatorSpace management.
Physical Access Before Codes
Membership gives immediate permission to enter the space. Until a member receives their access code, another member will need to provide physical access. Use or ping #you_at_the_space for informal access coordination.
General Access Days
Mondays and Tuesdays are scheduled as General Access days. CreatorSpace leadership and members with space permissions are expected from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1199 NASA Rd 1 for members who want to help arrange rooms, tour the facility, or set up desks and offices.
Donations And Clutter Control
Donations are paused unless specifically confirmed by a steward. This keeps clutter and moving loads down while the space is being arranged.
Cleanliness And Stored Items
- Remove trash from bins when they are full.
- Clean up after yourself, especially in the woodshop.
- Items may be left in spaces only with steward approval and attached labels.
Membership Add-ons
All membership add-ons are paused until permits are received.
