CreatorSpace Wiki Roadmap

Phase 1: Proof of Concept

• Build a clean MediaWiki 1.46 staging stack.
• Seed sample content for rooms, equipment, training, projects, tasks, and profiles.
• Test whether Cargo and Page Forms make routine editing approachable.
• Demonstrate cross-links and query-generated directories.
• Keep Slack integration out of scope.

Phase 2: Pilot With Stewards

• Pick one room and three pieces of equipment.
• Replace sample pages with verified local records.
• Add photos, QR codes, steward names, and review status.
• Create a short contributor guide for volunteers.

Phase 3: Live Migration

• Upgrade the existing live wiki or restore into a staging copy.
• Rehearse backup and rollback.
• Import approved templates and forms.
• Migrate public pages gradually.

Decision Log

• Use MediaWiki, not a new custom app, as the core knowledge system.
• Use `Projects/...` for member builds; reserve `Project:` for wiki governance.
• Use persistent equipment IDs so QR links survive room moves.
