How To: Bambu First Print

Goal

Start a small PLA print on the Bambu printer without blocking other members or damaging the machine.

Steps

  1. Choose a small model under one hour.
  2. Confirm the printer is available and clean.
  3. Confirm material type and color.
  4. Open the model in Bambu Studio.
  5. Select the correct printer, nozzle, build plate, and filament profile.
  6. Slice and review estimated print time.
  7. Add your name, material, and finish time to the queue note.
  8. Start the print and watch the first layer.
  9. If the first layer fails, stop the print and ask for help.
  10. Remove the print only after the plate is safe to handle.
