Stop First
If plastic has formed a blob around the hotend, wires, fan duct, or toolhead, stop and ask a steward. Do not pull cold plastic off the hotend.
Member-Safe Checks
- Confirm the filament matches the slicer profile.
- Confirm the nozzle temperature is appropriate.
- Try the printer's normal unload/load workflow.
- Check whether the spool is tangled or wet.
- Record the symptom on 3D Printing FAQ or create a task.
